Dr. Melody Amador was born and raised in San Antonio, TX and first moved to the DFW area for college. She attended the University of Dallas where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a concentration in Physics. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Dr. Amador believes in quality eye care for all. Her experience includes a community clinic in downtown Dallas working with underserved populations and furthering her experience in ocular disease management. Dr. Amador takes pride in providing personalized and compassionate care to each patient.
In her free time she enjoys painting, playing pickleball, and spending time with family.
