Dr Julie ErvinOptometristDr. Ervin is a therapeutic optometrist. She began her career as a bilingual educator, where she gained an appreciation for the role vision care played in her students’ success.

She strives to ensure patients are well educated in both their diagnosis as well as treatment options. She takes time to make sure patients fully understand their issues and the importance of adhering to treatment plans to ensure long-term success.
Dr. Ervin obtained her undergraduate degree at University of Dallas, her Master’s at Texas Wesleyan University and Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. She is delighted to call Fort Worth her home again and looks forward to treating her fellow DFW area residents.
In her spare time, Dr. Ervin enjoys trying new restaurants, travel, museum hopping and exploring with her husband and two corgis!

Dr Deanna PowellOptometristDr. Powell has been in practice since 2002. Beginning in the Kansas City area and relocating to DFW in 2013.

She is originally from Dodge City, KS and graduated from Kansas State University in 1997. She completed her education at The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2002.
Her husband Sean Powell is also an optometrist and is the head of Global Surgical training at Alcon. They have 2 teenagers, Lily and Jack. She stays quite busy shuttling them to drill team and basketball practices.
In her free time she enjoys audiobooks, college basketball, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Powell enjoys seeing patients of all ages.
